Silent-Power (Projects) Ltd. is launching a new way of producing, storing, and using energy. It is building an ecosystem which will make use of the renewable fuel, Methanol. To accomplish this, the Swiss company has launched its own crypto token to fund the project.

Silent-Power (Projects) Ltd. was established with the purpose of supporting and creating an environmentally friendly ecosystem that can produce, store, and use renewable energy. The company based in Switzerland’s “Cryptovalley Zug” plans to install Methanol Synthesis Plants (MSPs) which will capture Carbon Dioxide (CO2) emissions and bind them with Methanol to be used as fuel.

Methanol will be the main focus and driver of the project. The fuel is highly efficient and easy-to-handle. It is produced from electricity and CO2, which helps reduce the world’s carbon footprint, is very versatile and can be easily stored. .

Silent will pioneer the construction and operation of Methanol Synthesis Plants. The Methanol produced can then be used for fuel in different industries and will also be sold through Silent-Power’s own Econimo network.

To help fund the project and construction of MSPs, the company has launched an Security Token Offering (STO) for its security token, Silent (SLNT). Presale dates have already started on September 1, 2018 and will run until January 8, 2019. A total supply of 500,000,000 SLNT will be released at an exchange rate of CHF 0.15 for 1 SLNT.

Issuing a blockchain token is the preferred option for raising funds. The decentralized nature of blockchain opens investments to a much broader public , allows automated distribution of dividends, lower minimum investment (min. 1 ETH), and tokens to be traded online at anytime.

Token investors will get 82% of EBIT profits from the sale of Methanol fuel, to be distributed annually. Silent also offers a financial return in case of an exit (acquisition by another company), where 35% of the total acquisition price will be distributed among token holders.
