Ontario Medical Esthetic Certification Without Interrupting Work Hours Announced

Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy (844-337-6975) has updated its classes to be more accessible to new students, with options for completing the bulk of their aesthetic certification training online, after work hours.

This updated training option from the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy allows nearly any student to enroll in their Basic Aesthetics course, with no prior qualifications, and with no requirement to attend in-person classes until the end of the training.

To help students complete their med spa certification without interrupting their day jobs, these updated courses are completed primarily online, from anywhere with an internet connection. Although students will be required to complete a minimum of 1 week of hands-on, practical training, this can be scheduled at any Dermysk Academy location across Canada, at their convenience.

New students will be given access to seven online training modules, which can be completed at their own pace, from home. This training will provide a background in the medical aesthetics industry, as well as an understanding of the biology of skin and hair and the underlying science and physics behind popular treatments and medical aesthetic tools.

The online training also covers a range of common med spa procedures, providing basic instruction on how each procedure works, and how to complete it safely. However, once students have completed the online training, they will also receive practical training in each technique, in a supervised and controlled environment.

During their one week of practical training at the nearest Dermysk Academy, students will work with authentic med spa tools to practice each technique on real people, while supervised by a trained specialist. At the end of the practical training, graduates will be fully trained, certified, and able to work in a med spa, or open their own business.

Graduates may also return to the Dermysk Academy at any time for more training, using the Advanced Aesthetics program. This class resumes where the Basic training leaves off and includes instruction in complex med spa procedures including laser gynecology, laser pigmentation treatments, and CoolSculpting.
