Finatic Debuts Revolutionary new Online Fin Testing Program for Surfers

Brandon, Florida – April 6, 2019 – Darth Sculpt, brand awareness coordinator for Finatic, announced that the company has launched the first ever Online Fin Testing Program. Finatic is working in conjunction with all major surfboard fin companies to offer surfing fans an opportunity never before available.

“There’s no better place to test out surfboard fins. Period,” said Sculpt.

Finatic has a comprehensive selection of surf fins from which to choose that includes top names in the surfboard industry encompassing FCS II, Futures, Kinetik Racing, AU Fins, Rainbow and Turbo Tunnel. Surfing enthusiasts now have an easy way to physically test surfboard fins to find those that best suit their individual needs in multiple surfing conditions.

Individuals simply pick the surf fins they want online. The fins are mailed to them and they can try them for as long as they want. Fins can be returned and other choices selected to try. Surfers can choose from a basic, premium or platinum package to accommodate their individual desires and lifestyles.

A basic membership is just $9.99 per month. Members enjoy free shipping, 10-20 percent off all used surfboard fin purchases, and the ability to post reviews. A membership also provides access to all Twin, Thruster, Quad 5-fin and specialty fins. A premium membership has all the same benefits in addition to 15-25 percent off used surf fins and access to new fins the day they’re available at Finatic.

A platinum membership is $24.99 per month and allows individuals to request two sets of fins at a time for performing side-by-side comparisons. Platinum members receive 20-30 percent off used surf fin purchases and access to new surfboard fins that same day they arrive at Finatic. Members have access to all the same fins, along with Tow-In, Longboard and SUP.

All membership levels can also be paid for an entire year if desired. Those that enter the shopping code “surf” will receive their first month free on any membership option. More than 12 brands are participating in the unique program that features dozens of fin choices.

The innovative new Finatic Online Fin Testing Program is the first and only one of its kind anywhere in the world, providing surfers with the means to try out multiple types of surfboard fins in a multitude of water conditions. The program is already popular with recreational surfers and professionals that have competed around the world.

Baltimore mayor urged to resign after federal raids

Apr 26, 2019

BALTIMORE — Supporters of Baltimore's embattled mayor have grown largely quiet as a chorus of resignation calls has dramatically swelled following raids of her government offices, her two city homes and other locations by teams of federal investigators carting out boxes of evidence. The strongest voice calling for Mayor Catherine Pugh's immediate resignation is Republican Gov. Larry Hogan, who didn't mince words after the early Thursday raids: "Mayor Pugh has lost the public trust. She is clearly not fit to lead." Many Democrats, including those on Baltimore's demoralized City Council and state lawmakers, demanded that the first-term mayor put the...

Putin lauds China infrastructure initiative, warming ties

Apr 26, 2019

BEIJING — Russian President Vladimir Putin praised China's Belt and Road infrastructure initiative Friday, underscoring warming ties between the neighboring powers. Putin's comments Friday to a forum in Beijing appeared to downplay the potential for tensions between China and Russia. They also reflect Beijing and Moscow's shared resistance to U.S. global influence. The Belt and Road is rapidly expanding China's economic footprint in Central Asia, Moscow's traditional sphere of influence. But in an interview published Thursday remarking on 70 years of diplomatic relations, Putin praised Russia-China ties. "It would be no exaggeration to say that our countries have approached this...

RBS first-quarter earnings down 12.5% amid Brexit worries

Apr 26, 2019

LONDON — Royal Bank of Scotland says first-quarter earnings fell 12.5% as economic uncertainty linked to Brexit curtailed lending. Net income dropped to 707 million pounds ($912 million) from 808 million pounds in the same period last year as businesses delayed borrowing decisions. Britain's government owns 62.4% of RBS following a taxpayer-funded bailout during the global financial crisis. RBS warned Friday that uncertainty over Britain's pending departure from the European Union "is likely to make income growth more challenging in the near term." CEO Ross McEwan says the bank will "continue to support our customers through this Brexit uncertainty while...

Daimler says it has no idea how Kim Jong Un got his limos

Apr 26, 2019

TOKYO — German automaker Daimler, which makes armored limousines used by North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, says it has no idea where he got them and has no business dealings with the North. Kim has raised eyebrows by using Daimler-branded stretch limousines at several very high-profile summits, including his meeting this week with Russian President Vladimir Putin and both of his earlier summits with President Donald Trump. The sale of luxury goods, including limousines, is banned under U. N. sanctions intended to put pressure on North Korea to abandon its nuclear weapons. Kim nevertheless had two limos waiting for...

Asian shares fall on China stimulus worries, patchy earnings

Apr 26, 2019

BANGKOK — Shares were mostly lower in Asia on Friday after an overnight decline on Wall Street spurred by disappointingly weak earnings reports from 3M and some other industrial companies. Concern that China may temper its economic stimulus pulled the Shanghai benchmark down 1.2% to 3,086.40. Japan's Nikkei 225 index slipped 0.2% to 22,258.73 and the Kospi in South Korea declined 0.5% to 2,179.31. Australia's S&P ASX 200 edged 0.1% higher to 6,385.60, while the Hang Seng in Hong Kong added 0.2% to 29,605.01. India's Sensex gained 0.3% to 38,835.79. Shares fell in Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand but rose...
